Gopaldhara Wonder Tea is manufactured from the prime clonal sections of the garden at an average elevation of 6500 FT and the highest peak stretches right up to 7000 FT. It is made from young and tender single leaf and bud. The first flush wonder tea brews into a flowery mellow cup with rich overtones of fruit and honey. This is truly the “the champagne of all Teas”. Spring flush, popularly known as the First Flush, is famous for its fresh flavor. The tea in this period is plucked immediately after the long cold winter months and is bountiful with fresh flavour as the bushes are full of vigour. They are stronger in this period when compared to the summer and pre-winter. The infusion has a greenish leaf appearance and the tea tastes fresh and strong.
First Flush Darjeeling teas are very delicate, and great care should be taken during preparation.
Use 1 teaspoon of tea per 6 oz of boiling water.
Steep for ONLY 2 minutes. Do not oversteep.
Steeping for too long will result in tea that is bitter.
Properly steeped, this Darjeeling is full over delicate, aromatic flavors of fresh muscatel and are truly an amazing experience for the tea connoisseur.
