One of our favorites, the Ben Shan is a unique varietal from the famous Anxi region of Fujian province. The tea is a classic oolong with a light level of oxidation. The oxidation level is approximately 25% - 30%, making this tea a full bodied, flavorful selection. Created using the traditional roll of the Anxi Mountain region, the Ben Shan, while more highly oxidized, is only lightly roasted, allowing the complex, yet subtle, flavors to emerge in your cup. The tea brews to a delightful golden hue, with lightly floral notes and hints of nuttiness amidst the traditional oolong flavors.
How to Brew this Tea:

Water Temperature - 200º *
Time of Steeping - 4-7 minutes *
