Traditional cooked "bird's nest" tuo cha puerh is scented with the sweet and floral jasmine blossoms just before pressing into the traditional bowl shape. The earthy flavor of the tuo cha is delightfully joined by the complex sweetness of the jasmine.
How to Brew this Tea:
Use one "pod" for about 12 oz water *
Gently break the nest with your fingers, and place in a large teapot. Alternately, if you'd like to use only a part of it, carefully wrap the remainer of the tea back in the light paper.
Pour boiling water over the leaves, and pour off the water after about 5-10 seconds, effectively rinsing the leaves of any remaining dust that may have gathered in the aging process.
Water Temperature - 212ยบ *
Time of Steeping - 5-10 minutes *
This tea can be infuse at least 5 times, and perhaps more, according to your taste.
